YWCA Ready 4 Launch

About this program

Ready 4 Launch is a YWCA Halifax employment program for youth aged 15–30 who identify as women, gender-diverse or Two-Spirit, are legally entitled to work in Nova Scotia (citizen, permanent resident or refugee) and can commit to 30 hours a week. The 14-week model pairs 4 weeks of paid in-class employment-readiness workshops with a 10-week paid, supported work placement; employers are reimbursed for wages.
